Kamsack Saskatchewan, Canada | Won't ever use it again. Have used treatment on and off for the last 35 years. Never seen the difference. Last year we used Raxil and Charter. We ran out of treatment on the last field, so just finished the field with untreated wheat. It was night and day were we ran out. The treated wheat was at least 1 week behind in emergence than the untreated wheat. Phoned the rep, and he said that is no problem, and it will catch up to the untreated wheat, but claimed it would be a better crop because of diesease etc. etc. Well at harvest time, the treated wheat still was a few days behind, and after doing a few test plots of each, found out there was not one bit of difference. Yield was the same, protien was the same, weight was the same. Only thing different was less net profit on the treated wheat, and had to wait a few extra days for the treated wheat to catch up to harvest. |
