With those sized trees/balls - that's a lot of weight . . .  If you hook a chain to the wire, it most likely will break the wire (someone could get hurt or the ball could break apart). As posted, stand them up - it's not that hard and can be manipulated with the forks to stand them up, if you are handy with the forks. A choker strap could be used to loop around the ball and help stand them up with the forks. Then move your forks together, as discribed in Phils post above, to handle the tree. Make sure your hole is dug at the proper depth, once the tree is in the hole - it's hard to get'em out again - lol
