| My thoughts as well. I ran open station tractors from the late '50s till the mid '70s, first combines I ran were open station as well. In the mid '70s I had a compete physical & the dr told me I had to quit smoking. Thing was I never had smoked & told him so. He aid "you must be a farmer because your lungs are full of brown matter." He said for my jealth I need to be running tractors with cabs & ac. I tired to get him to write a precription for a new air conditioned tractor so my insurance company would pay for it but he wouldn't .............LOL
I still have breathing problems today & am on an inhaler. I only run an open station tractor today if it's a neccisity. | |
