12 acres? I would do what needs to be done.
If it is level, not reason to plow it. If you want to level and incorporate materials, do it.
If it has little traffic, I don't see why you can't notill it.
I think alot of us look at field and can't make a decision. That is why we ask for help here.
You can notill it and move on. Wish you good luck!
