If your crossing many terraces kwsteve, you need the floating row cleaners. Fixed row cleaners can really dig if set deep enough to do anything across the rest of the field. Really, in any fields with even minor differences in surface soil surface topography, the floating row cleaners will perform better. You just can't adjust the fixed design enough times in a pass to make them perform consistently.

On the strip till, if its fall strip till and had a chance to settle, I think you would be fine with the floating row cleaners and depth bands. If its softer soil, carry a little weight to stop them digging.
