| Usually start planting corn sometime around Apr 20th.
After the past 2 weeks of snow disappearing I would say were in pretty good shape to start right on time.
Other than where it was piled there is little snow left and not much frost in the ground anymore either. Tiles have been running almost continuously since last Oct.
On a side note there is a 1/4 section of corn in the field just down the road that was planted over 11 months ago. If its still standing on Apr 16 it will celebrate a birthday, I've never seen that happen yet, probably won't happen though. | |
