We've run a Silencer for over 10 years now everything from weaned calves up to 2500lb bulls it saw 1K+ head a year at the height of its use and it hasn't failed yet. We have weight bars underneath it. The only problem I would say is some poor hose routing in a few places next to sharp edges but they have improved that since we bought ours. I'd guess we've run around 10K-15K head through it so far.
