Mississippi County, MO | We use it on our farm. It is a very good product. We have seen a yield response as well, in my opinion it is because of a more even distribution of zinc and sulfur. Both of those are pretty immobile, and in a conventional blend the zinc and sulfur granules are spread pretty thin over an acre whereas with MESZ there is sulfur and zinc in every granule. This year it was actually a little cheaper for us to use than blending DAP, ammonium sulfate, and 36% zinc. It also works well for us since we generally appy 10 lbs of sulfur and 1 lb of zinc per acre. 100 lbs of MESZ per acre gives us 12-40-0-10S-1ZN. | |
