I cut the tree down then pour on some Remedy and diesel fuel. Mix up about 18oz Remedy to 3 gallon of diesel in a little pump up sprayer. Works good for me. It will kill hedge trees and locust. Those are our biggest thorny tree problems here. Good Luck Darren
