Subject: OnTrac2 vs EZ Steer - Head to Head?

South central, Nebraska
I'm hoping to hear from operators that have experience with both systems. I have ran the EZ but not OT2.

I have and Edge in the combine, a couple 500's, and 1 EZ Steer motor. I feed the Edge gps with a 500 during harvest and used the steer cutting some drilled beans. The rest of season I shared the steer between the tractor and sprayer (w/ez boom). I've tried to get a lot of use out of the one 500 unlocked to omnistar.

I've gained some experience with these systems but have not been satisfied with line acquisition after making turns.

I haven't read of any head to head comparison between EZ Steer vs OnTrac2.

Is the OT2 faster at line acquisition than EZ Steer?

Will the 500 provide equal GPS solution the the edge/ot2 as any other receiver?

Will the Paradyme improve the ot2 performance better than any other gps solution?

I tried to follow some of the threads that JAR has posted but I never found any direct comparison. So JAR, if you could chime in here when you can and let me know how your system is performing.

TIA
