Owen got it right, just too wet in August/September when we harvest soybeans. I'm in Northeast LA, just 20 miles or so from South AR. We had something like 20 inches of rain in about 2 months, and with temps in the 90s, they rotted pretty quickly.

Most of those yeild winners are from middle and norther AR.

And yes, most of the crops in AR are irrigated.
