North Dakota | Most of the 500s around here have been set to 48" convergence so they can start quicker with a bit less accuracy. One other thing to check is make sure it is set to the correct Omni sat, the only one I know is the central US which is MSVCN. At 12" convergence it should take less than 20 minutes to converge with a clear view of the southern sky. Talk to the dealer you purchased your antenna from, they may have a spare antenna and cable to try. You should also have the latest firmware in the 500 ver. 5.0. | |
