Subject: Re: Acre program and crop insurance

Acre does not require crop insurance. However, premium spent on coverage is deducted from totals. SURE program requires crop insurance on all insurable crops, and NAP when available (from FSA) on crops that don't have insurance offers. The SURE program will multiply guaranteed bushels/dollars (crop insurance) times 120% (going from memory, but I believe that is the number).

my opinions,
Rob

I've recently stumbled across some crop agents selling 85% levels as a "hedge" for a potentially higher payment from SURE.
