NW Ohio, near Findlay | Reading most of posts here, we too have had problems like this. IN OUR LOCATION, it is muskrats that will go around or lift up gaurd and chew from inside, why is a good question. Cut out a piece and take a microscope and look at it. The tile will have ragged edges to the inside. Then when a hole appears, a mouse, vole will follow down and live in hole, maybe even chew also. If main is a clay tile, we notice it the most. Rat will go up tile and first plastic run it comes to is his target. The heavier plastic tile, with white outside wrap seems to be better, maybe time will tell. | |
