Only thing that helps drainage is.....drainage! A good tile system and proper surface slope to get water off and out!

Many of the local football and baseball fields have had tile installed in recent years to great benefit. Usually can get local contractor or farmer to donate all or part of installation. Tile on 15 or 20' centers works great!
