The plan is to let these grow for maybe 2 months. We usually get more rain in this time frame than the ground can take in anyway. I planted over half of two different fields today and hope to see a difference one way or the other. I have my doubts as well, but had the chance and timing to try it. I'm hoping the added residue will hold moisture and protect from heat later in the summer.
