SC MN
In Minnesota, we never put any fertilizer in the seed furrow with soybeans. Millions of corn acres are treated every year without injury, however soybeans cannot tolerate any salt in the furrow at planting. Fertilizer applied to/ahead of soybeans as part of your overall fertiltiy program is a valid practice, especially in low and medium testing soils.
