This is the way I understood it. We bought a 1560 drill the last year they came out. Deere had an update kit at a reduced price to change the 1560 seed boot and tube to a 1590 style. The "special price" if that was what it really was, was available for a limited time. So some of the drills may have been updated at that time.
JD 1560 and 1590 drills. Just what is the difference?
