I got a hammer drill/driver with the same deal....thanks for reminding me, and a bad chuck in another....
In the past I've replaced switches and contactors and a few other minor deals.....Just take your time and pull it apart on a clean bench....put the part you need in and then try to make sure you don't have any odd parts left....No biggy really.
