I've had the elec pumps for the fert on my planter. It always seemed like trouble waiting to happen, electrical connections that have to be right to work, pumping with a corrosive liquid that is just waiting to spring a leak and nail your planter. The lil thumper piston pump that now needs new seals put in it is on it's 3rd planter and must be 15 years old.
