I saw a swartz once that had an electric motor mounted on the front that went to a gearbox that drove the pto shaft. Guy fed with a truck that had a big portable welder mounted to it. Said it was great for those far off groups, I don't remember any details about the setup and haven't took time to tinker with the idea yet. Thought it was really neat thinking.
