Subject: Machinery on the road

Centralia, MO
Driving home from Louisville today on I-64 to St Louis, I saw a lot of equipment on the road. Just leaving Louisville was a guy pulling a Brandt grain vac and a belt conveyor; he was running pretty slow for an interstate.

Next was an obvious dealer pulling a Demco grain cart behind a tandem flatbed loaded with stuff. He had strung temp lights on the cart and they were running intermittently. As I passed the cart I could see it was bouncing something terrible and the big tires were making a howl.

Next was a dealer flatbed stacked full of Woods loaders and stuff. He was well tied down and marked.

Finally, I saw a guy pulling a seed wagon (four wheel gravity box) with no lights at all and he suddenly made a quick slow down and pulled off the road right in front of me.

Combining these with some bad snow around St Louis, I had a kinda hazardous drive home.
