Subject: RE: Harvestore Filling.

Durand, WI
We have a 20X80 and a 25X90 converted to dry storage. We use a leg to fill both, while they work fine you can't beat a bin for storing grain. The down side IMO is the fact that it is difficult to dump the dryer hot and then cool in the harvestore because of the roof design. For us the harvestores were on a farm which we purchased and it was a ideal sight for us to add a dryer, wet bin and the leg is very easy to attach to a harvestore. Bottom line we owned 55000 bu. of dry storage that we could not utilize in any other way. My only input would be if you decide to use the harvestore is make sure the location has room for expansion and if it would work that you could add a leg to the harvestore it makes for a neat install. (no cables for guide wires and much cheaper then erecting with tower)
