SE North Dakota | What I have heard is that the rotor is bigger in diameter, the accelerator rolls are bigger in diameter to handle more grain. Changed the transition from the rotor to the straw chopper. More smoke under the hood, somewhere around 425hp. Heard it was running with a 9870 JD. The deere had a 35ft head and the gleaner had a 40ft head and it ran with it all day and did a better job behind it. I can't wait to see it. I hope that they keep the weight down and the height. These new machines are getting to big and tall. It is tough to get around on them. These people that think that they can trade every year and don't have to do any maintenance on them are in for a rude awakening in the next few years. Thats what I like about the gleaners, you can run them for a while and don't have to be a gorilla to get around them. | |
