I agree with ebertfarms , you should try meguier's fine cut cleaner first then follow with their hand buff cleaner wax. Alot of work but you get a better result over time and the paint doesn't dull out as fast. Malco also makes a buffing compound that is almost impossible to burn your paint with, might want to check that too.
