Boonville, IN | With a SISU engine you should not run out of horsepower. There was a software update to be added this fall (2009) to all SISU engines that increased the horsepower. You can now unload going up a hill and see no drop in horsepower. It does change the way that most operators ran the combine. You cannot as easily listen to the engine or watch engine load to determine capacity. If the update was not installed on your machine, I can provide you with the service bulletin number. The dealer does need a laptop with the diagnostic software or a EDT tool to load the software. | |
