They are as close to an IH firming point as you can get on a Deere. I like them but in our soils we have to mount them with grade 8 bolts instead of roll pins.
If you use them check often because if roll pin breaks so does seed tube and you can't tell it.
If it hangs too low your disks are probably worn too much.
