Subject: Ag-chem 854 and replaced engines

NC Iowa
I have been researching 854's for about a year. The only thing I am confused about is the high number of motor replacements at pretty low hours.
Many of them seem to be around 2,500 - 3,000 hours they had a replacement motor, and are typically sold around 3,500 -4,000 hours. Many of the 4,500 + hour machines never say anything about a motor.
So....
Is there certain year motors that have had problems?
What kind of failures are the motors having?
Can one assume a motor replacement will be likely around 2,500- 3,500 hours?
Do the machines that have 4,500+ hours had a replacement engine done but just too long ago to state it?
Do all of the 1064 have cat engines? I'm guessing a C7?

Anything else I should know?
