Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I see the same formation and I think we are headed for a breakout at some point. It's making me nervous. I've sold some along the way up but lately have waited thinking March-April will give another run up to secure acres. Could that be the breakout to the upside? I know better but I have sold too much too soon for a year now so I'm getting greedy trying to make up some of what I could have had.
What's making me nervous is "everyone" is expecting this to go a little higher...that's ususally when it will do the opposite. If we get too many surveys predicting 10 million+ acres to go to corn and planting weather is good, we may not have much of a chance for a final run up in price. |
