Subject: Re: Question about Diesel in Scout Utv

Piedmont, NC
Bullet proof is hardly what I would call any gator. I HAVE HAD NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT MINE SINCE THE SECOND YEAR IT WAS HERE. I did like it at one time, but that time has passed. I know I'm not the only one with problems either. Its cheap and it rides like crap. The engine never runs well for long. That stupid carb always sputters, and etc. etc. Gears grind and grind. I have had the JD man reset it various times. Anyone who has ever tried to repair the transmission if it breaks usually trashes it for a new one. I think that suckers about $2500. Anyway I still don't see a diesel being practical. I like the Ranger , but didn't like the kubota that much. It seems a little clumsy to me. And does the new Gator not have susp. all the way around now too?
