Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan | Dave,
You may already have this information. What I found out, was this combine was bought new by the farmer that traded it into Voelkers. They purchased a thirty inch row corn planter last spring and decided to go away from this 4420 that had a four row, 38 inch corn head. They stepped up to a 9500 with a six row, 30 inch corn head. I was told it had about 2900 hours on it and had only combined high moisture corn. Voelkers has two stores and this combine actually originated from the Lake City store, which is north of Big Rapids about forty or fifty miles I believe. I takled to Joe at Big Rapids, and he said the previous owner was from the McBain area. I don't know too many farmers from McBain, so I can't help you there.
Joe said he was sending some pictures to a guy in Pa. I expect you'll be getting some pictures soon.
best of luck, gordon |
