Central Kansas | He shut down. It is open as an Auto Parts store currently....makes hoses, etc.....but Deere out. Mother Deere would not let Pankrantz in Hutch, Deer Trail in McPherson, or the Great Bend dealership expand into this store.....too many too close was the word.
The new Centennial Center on the East side of 56 has a new horse arena and has some event nearly every weekend. Pulling people in, no hotel rooms. There is talk of a new 80 unit hotel across the street from the Center. I don't know about 'growing', but it seems to be holding on somehow. 36F here this a.m.....hope you didn't get frost. | |
