but may be sufficient for some puposes:

cut the upper part off 2 identical solid plastic jerrycans, e.g. oil or chem. cans (clean!).

One is bolted on the machine with large washers, the second is slided over as a lid. It´s pretty water&dust tight and lasts a couple of seasons, provided it´s stored out of direct sunlight. Does not look too bad if cut properly, and labels removed.
