I used the OEM housing from the STX 435 and the H-3 bulb. I think that is the same light for your 7140. I drilled a 15/16" (I think that was the size), in the back of the plastic light housing and then inserted the grommit which came in the DDM kit, in the hole which gave me just enough room to fit the bulb in.
HID lights 35 watt or 55watt ? what color bulbs are you using.
