WI | For what it is worth that 2410 with a NH3 setup on it is the way to go for a lot of guys here in the upper midwest- a lot of coops up here are starting to use them. Remember the coop that got the rig stuck under the bridge this fall in MN? That was a 2410. The way it seems is that it accomplishes a bit of tillage and the bars hold up alot better than seemingly others. Those true depth shanks are a bit pricier but we have seen a lot better depth control and less breakdowns. We use them in spring as well and they are a lot better if we have to go across chiseled ground- less frame and standard cracking ...etc. For what its worth the guy that posted about just switching your shanks for different tillage effect I think is right on- I was suprised at the ammount of tillage done just with the nh3 knives. Keep us posted on how this works for you. | |
