No sales tax or property taxes in Texas on farm equipment, feed, input supplies or parts.  Thank you Lord. 

No sales tax on trucks if apportioned or on trailers pulled by apportioned trucks.  Farm trucks and trailers are also exempt from property taxes.

No state income taxes either.  We have a state limited maximum of 8.25% sales tax on other items.  Some areas are less if not located inside the city limits.  A lot of areas the sales tax rate is 6.75%.  No sales tax on food.

Now, if we could just get it to rain now and then!!!
