I have used these for a year (around 4000 acres) on my 1770 JD planter. I really like them, very few problems. I don't think that the CAse attaching area is strong enough for the side-draft that you get with the 5% angle on the UMO Opener. I did have parrallel arm trouble in very hard clay soil with a lot of down pressure trying to plant 2.5 inches deep (double crop corn in July, NC, oklahoma). Other than that, a very good product and I will purchase more in the future.
