Subject: row shut offs

I have an average field size of about 20 acres. Lots of odd shapes since we are on the contour in hill country. I run a 12 row 30 inch planter with a half width disconnect that I do trip on and off when doing point rows. I'm trying to see how many acres it takes to justify the added expence of row clutches. So for those of you that have this equipment how many bags of seed do you save per 100 acres when planting corn?
