Replace the housing. I know, $$$.
I hope you understood, how I measure for the parallel surface with a 6" calipers.
On the bad ones, you can "rock" your calipers back and forth, as you are trying to "squeeze" the calipers between the flat "4 bolt" surface verses that 3/8" hardened washer in that counterbore area.
