Hi Ryan,
We have both a field cultivator and a soil finisher. We use the soil finisher more than the field cultivator. The soil finisher does more for us. A pass of the soil finisher will give us a better seed bed than the field cultivator. One of the uses we have for the field cultivator is after rain-outs, or for lighter tillage work.
