I would try no tilling it, but regardless of your preparation, keep an eye on it this summer. In 09, we had one field with a lot of volunteer corn, sprayed it with Select late june, since we had above average rain in July, had a lot of new corn pop up then. Repsrayed some of it, could tell on monitor where we did not.

I would definitely go with beans, you have a lot more options for chemical control than if you return to corn. Nowdays you have to assume all corn is RR, and there are not alot of straight Liberty hybrids to choose from.
