What will the increase price of corn do to world production of grain ?

I remember when J. Carter did a grain embargo in the 1970's I think.

Took corn down from about 2.50 to 2.00.

He did not embargo other things, just the grain.

I was told that world grain prices went down 25% also as the U.S. sets the price.

Is that still true today?

If so, would not world corn, ect. production increase?

If not corn, because the other countries may not be suited to produce corn, but are suited to increase other grains.

Would not world grain production increase?

Would that not make our grains less desirable for export?

Who tracks world production and the effect that the increase price of corn in the U.S. has done to world production?
