Last year we put down around 70% of our needed N as NH3 pre-plant and came back in and sidedressed the rest. Last year due to the upsidedowness of the fertilizer retailers, I bought our sidress NH3 in season at a nice discount to pre-plant pricing. Would that be wise to do again this year or does one buy 100% of their N needs at this time. Currently have $485 Nh3 "here".
