Bourbon,Indiana

I tried it two years ago and liked it enough that I went whole hog this year past. I have very high ph's (most in the 6.9-7.4 range). I do, however, remember many stunted corn plants in my scouting days from scepter. To be safe I apply a half rate.

My burndown is 1.5pt Prowl H2O(1/2 rate ), 1.44oz. Scepter (2.8 is full rate), and a pt of LV4. It does not kill the winter annuals off completely, but, those few remaining, are stunted and not growing. I have found I can get by with one post glyphosate/gluphosinate(LL), in 30" rows usually right before canopy.

I should add, that I have very few ragweeds on the farm except for a couple of new fields. In those fields I had excellent control. Cost runs about $4.5 for the Scepter and $5.xx for the Prowl, and I figure I cut one post spray as indicated, to help pay for the residuals.

I have not seen or measured any corn stunting with this program.
