Southeastern IL | At 12' and over you have to have an escort. We hauled a 24yd scraper from NC through TN KY IN to IL that was 12'6" wide. Just filled out all my paperwork showing the load as 11' 11" and away we went. I did pay couple hundred $ in overwidth permits for the load though. When we went through the scales they looked at the permits and saw 11' 11" and let us on through. Lucky us though. Best bet may be to break it down as narrow as possible. Hate to get into an accident and paperwork not match up. | |
