| I was told by my dealer within the last couple of months that the Steiger series (right after the STX) allows you to run the auto-steer with accu-steer turned on. Whether he knew what he was talking about or not is debatable, but they generally seem pretty knowledgeable. If that's true, I wonder if you could load a Steiger vehicle profile into an STX and get the accu-steer to work with the older tractors as well. Who knows, maybe you could even use Trimble Auto-Steer and load a Steiger vehicle profile and make an old row crop special 9x30 or 9x50 work OK with auto-steer.
