Jim convinced me that straight coulters are better than no till coulters. You don't want to work up the ground in no till, but you want to cut the stalks and stems so the trash whippers can part them.

On you narrow rows there isn't a lot of room between the rows to pile up the trash though.

So I made mounts for plow coulters and then mounted thin ammonia knives and pumped my 32% down them. A picture I've posted here many times.
