docbrinegar, There are 2 types of cellulose (paper) insulation. Some has ammonium sulfate which is supposed to be used in non-metal structures. The other type contains borate, which CAN be used on metal without corroding it.

I suggest you put 2x4s accross on 2ft centers. It will be way easier to blow in insulation. What is the person who does the work going to stand on if you put the heavier duty tin on? Also, adding 2x4s will increase the strength of your structure.
