for beans I would definitely think the cyclo would have an advantage. They have a great planter unit. The main problem with those planters was the seed spacing was a little inconsistant because of the length of the seed tubes and the ricochet. That's not an issue for beans. It's easy to adjust row spacing because you dont have to worry about drive shafts and such. The central fill is also way better than messing with all of the individual boxes. The cyclo is also probably a little cheaper too. If you're conventional tillage the closing disc/single press wheel set up on the cyclo should have an advantage over the true-vee closing wheels on the deere too. Good luck
