Lincoln County. NC | Lay it on an anvil and pound on the center where the threads are engaged with the ends with a BFH. Do it cold and dry. This helps break the rust. If it's not free when you get done, use heat, Hagen's Brew, or your method of choice. The impact shocks and stretches the outer barrel and either frees it, or allows penetrants to work better. Works excellent on sleeved tie rods and drag links as well. | |
